Being part of the community means giving back. As Paul Newman said, "I respect generosity in people, and I respect it in companies too, I don't look at it as philanthropy; I see it as an investment in the community."
TransWest Investment in the Community
TransWest has partnered with TreeUtah, a statewide 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to tree planting and education. Through these actions they hope to inspire and empower our communities to become active, knowledgeable stewards of our natural environment. Every member of TransWest that opens or converts to a Green Check or Savings account or signs up for eStatements, will have the opportunity to join TreeUtah at a discounted price of $20 and TransWest will pay $10 of your membership fee. Not only do you do your part to help the environment, you also earn more interest, receive up to 0.5% interest rate discounts on a hybrid/fuel efficient car, and will help to plant trees in our community! To learn more about TreeUtah, visit their website at www.treeutah.org.

TransWest has partnered with Banzai, a local business that is fast becoming the nation's premier web-based tool for teaching financial literacy to junior high and high school students. They focus on merging classroom learning with real-world experience as students learn to make wise spending decisions. TransWest is part of that "real-world" experience in supplying materials to local junior high and high schools and actively participating in their educational experience.
