At TransWest Credit Union, we have a wide array of services for every need in your life. Our additional member services help you take care of your finances in an easy and convenient way. These services will ease your mind about how you conduct your financial business.

Direct Deposit

Save time and gas by sending your paycheck electronically to your account with Direct Deposit. You can authorize the direct deposit of your payroll, Social Security, retirement, Veteran's Administration benefits, or most recurring checks. With direct deposit, your check is deposited automatically and safely into your TransWest Credit Union account. You don't have to worry about making it to the Credit Union before closing or using your lunch hour to make your deposit. If you're sick or on vacation, your paycheck is deposited while you relax. On your normal payday, your money is right where you need it, when you need it. You can use the Telephone Teller or Online Banking to check the actual amount deposited, and use your VISA® card or ATM card to access your funds at any ATM location.

Safe Deposit Boxes

TransWest Credit Union has safe deposit boxes available at our Salt Lake, Sandy, and Magna branches. We offer modest prices for all box sizes. We strictly follow government regulations regarding safe deposit boxes, so you can be assured that your possessions are secure.

Traveler's Checks

TransWest Credit Union offers the most recognized, most accepted traveler's checks in the world - American Express® Traveler's Cheques. You may purchase American Express Traveler's Cheques or American Express Traveler's Cheques for Two through the Credit Union.

Gift Cheques

We offer another great American Express item called Gift Cheques. They are available in specified denominations and are similar to Travelers Cheques. Instead of writing a personal check to that special someone, use a Gift Cheque. Gift Cheques are especially convenient when personal checks are difficult to cash.

Cashier's Checks

TransWest Credit Union Cashier's Checks are an absolutely guaranteed item. These checks are accepted all over the United States. There is no minimum or maximum dollar amount for a Cashier's Check.

Money Orders

TransWest Credit Union Money Orders work much like regular checks. Use them to pay your bills or to make any other payments. Our Money Orders are a guaranteed item and are easy to use.
